There is now an option to has your Panel Asset name for PC assets automatically be set to whatever the PC computer's hostname is, even if you change the hostname after the asset is registered!
Find this setting in the
Settings Overview tab.
Note: this setting is OFF by default - you must enable it if you want this behavior. If you turn this on, any PC asset in Panel will have its name updated to the current PC hostname everytime the PC syncs with Panel.
