Blueprints - Team Blueprints
Subscribe to professionally authored, prebuilt Blueprints from Team Libraries — with optional AutoSync to publisher updates.
Team Blueprints
K12Panel comes with many prebuilt Blueprints you can subscribe to, published into Team Libraries.
Finding a Team Blueprint
Click the Team Blueprints tab to browse Blueprints available for subscription. You must belong to at least one Team Library to see Team Blueprints — Public Libraries are open to everyone, and you may also have access to membership-only or invitation-only libraries. If you don’t see any, join a Team Library first. Use the filter at the top right to narrow by specific libraries.
Subscribing to a Team Blueprint
Click the green Subscribe button. You’re shown the Blueprint’s technical details so you can confirm it does what it claims. Because Blueprints are scripts that change your computers, review every Team Blueprint before subscribing. When satisfied, decide two things:
- Whether to automatically sync with publisher updates (AutoSync).
- Which Org Library to place the subscribed Blueprint into.
AutoSync: Powerful, but Use Care
With Automatically sync with publisher updates checked, your subscribed Blueprint receives any updates the publisher releases — keeping, say, an Adobe Reader Blueprint current automatically. That’s powerful, but it also means you inherit any flaw the publisher inadvertently ships. Enable AutoSync only if you trust the author (check the publishing organization). You can toggle AutoSync on or off at any time, not just at subscription.
Subscriber Check
After subscribing, the button changes to Subscriber Check, which shows which of your Org Libraries holds the Blueprint and when it last synced, with a link to jump straight to it.
Common Questions
Why don’t I see any Team Blueprints?
You must join a Team Library first — start with the Public Library.
Should I enable AutoSync?
Only if you trust the publisher. It auto-applies their updates, including any mistakes.
Can I change AutoSync later?
Yes, at any time after subscribing.
Should I review a Blueprint before subscribing?
Yes. Blueprints are scripts that change your computers — review the details first.
