Find your way around K12Panel — the left menu, the quick search box, and profile controls.

Basic Navigation

Getting around K12Panel is straightforward:

  • Left menu — the function menu runs down the left side. You see the items your role allows; administrators see everything.
  • Quick Search — the search box at the top finds Assets by name, make, model, serial number, or asset tag. On the Assets screen you can also switch to AI Search for plain-English queries.
  • Profile and sign-out — the top-right corner is where you manage your profile, notification preferences, and log out.

Common Questions

Why don’t I see every menu item?
The menu reflects your role’s permissions. Administrators see all items; other roles see fewer.

Where do I search?
Use the Quick Search box at the top. On the Assets screen, the AI Search tab lets you search in plain English.

Where do I manage my profile or sign out?
In the top-right corner.
