K12Panel Agent installation problems

If the K12Panel Agent won't install on a Windows PC, make sure a current .NET Framework is present.

K12Panel Agent Installation Problems

If the K12Panel Agent will not install on a Windows PC, the most common cause is a missing or outdated .NET Framework.

Ensure a Current .NET Framework Is Installed

The Agent is tested on Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2016.

On older Windows 10 builds and Server 2016, install the latest .NET Framework before installing the Agent. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 (offline installer) has been verified to work. Install it, reboot, then run the Agent installer again.
